I was deeply saddened to hear of Pam passing. I worked with her at Sacramento State, and she was always kind and thoughtful. I will always remember how cheerful she was whenever we crossed paths on campus. Pam would give me a warm greeting with a bright smile. Her memory will continue to resonate throughout the university community. She made a lasting impact, and she will be dearly missed.
Pam hired me to work as part of her team at Sac. State. I was immediately drawn to her because of her ability to share her story, her kindness to people, the way she motivated others, and was able to be vulnerable and real with people. She always made time to check in with people to ensure they were doing ok (especially after they had endured a hardship). She encouraged me to continue to follow my passion for Diversity and Inclusion and reminded me to "never limit yourself". She was a true mentor, a guiding light to others, and I am truly grateful for getting the opportunity to know her.
To the Wimbush family; Our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your sweet mom and sister. May Jehovah continue to comfort you and provide you with strength, courage and faith to endure during difficult time. Denzel Venters
My heart is broken as a try to wrap my mind around the passing of my dear friend Flossie P as I would sometime jokingly call her but Wimbush was the name I used when well would talk or see one another over the years. Met her in my early twenties. She always had a bubbly and positive attitude. All we did was giggle and laugh out loud most of the time even through our trials. And talk about smart, Wimbush was highly intelligent but if you know her siblings they all have been blessed with that gift. I will miss my dear friend but i know I will see her again when Jesus will resurrect her as he promised at John 5:28,29 and we will hear her funny voice. I envision her with that big bright smile saying "Hey Ya'll it's me I'm back! Rest in peace my dear sister. I love you always. Minnett Venters (Maxx) 🙏🏾💞
I first met Pam at Southside Church of Christ in Durham. Such a beautiful soul, and Tam as well. We became friends almost instantly and would greet each other with, "Hi friiiend!" This is heartbreaking and I will miss her. My condolences to the family, praying for you all. Love you, Tam.

Although new on campus, Pam was immediately a breath of fresh air. Her exuberance was contagious. You left an indelible memory in our hearts and minds. We will miss your vision for our campus.
My thoughts of Pam go back. Our daughter share the journey of Girl Scout for many years, going to dress factory. She was a person that always believed in learning and that she did. Pam we will miss you. But we know GOD is in controll. Rest Flossie.
I first met Pam through a conference with our professional association and it was clear she was someone special—grounded, introspective, and full of light. I was lucky enough to later welcome her to our team, where her perseverance and positive spirit made a lasting impact. Pam was truly adored in our field—not only for her expertise, but for her helpfulness and creativity, and she will remain in the hearts and minds of so many.
We bonded during fun times like UPCEA events and Sac State football games and also during the tough times of the Pandemic. We also shared a love of foodin-ess, succulents, and a deep belief in the power of education. Whether she was diving into a new project or sharing a personal story, she brought warmth and intentionality to everything she did.
I will always admire her unwavering commitment to faith, family, and friendship. Her presence made spaces better, and her absence is felt deeply.
Rest in peace, Pam...your legacy lives on!

Pam was an amazing leader... not only a leader but a guiding light. She was always sweet but courageous. Working with Pam was a privilege. Her unwavering grace and professionalism set the tone for all of us. Her compassion and quiet courage is what really left a mark on my heart. Our morning debriefs will always stay with me, sometimes Pam would break into a song and then stop the moment I would reach for my cell, laughing softly. Those moments were small but they spoke volumes about the light she brought into our everyday lives. Pam I will miss you deeply. Rest in eternal peace. ❤️ Rose C.
