How fortunate I was when my daughter and Pam's daughter became middle school friends. It was the beginning of a precious friendship between two families that lasted across a number of states, career growth, life challenges & much love. I will truly miss this wonderful woman, as so many others will. Tam & family, I pray that your sweet memories of Pam will help sustain & comfort you during this time. Pam was an amazing leader... not only a leader but a guiding light. She was always sweet but courageous. Working with Pam was a privilege. Her unwavering grace and professionalism set the tone for all of us. Her compassion and quiet courage is what really left a mark on my heart. Our morning debriefs will always stay with me, sometimes Pam would break into a song and then stop the moment I would reach for my cell, laughing softly. Pam and I met at Sac State but our friendship, love for God, family and all things DEIBJ went far beyond a place or time. She was my sister-friend, my confidant, and my inspiration. I had the honor and privilege of working with Pam during her time at Sacramento State University, particularly through her contributions to Professional and Continuing Education.
