Obituary For Frank Earl Toney, Sr.

Frank E. Toney, Sr.,85, of Carson Dr., Bassett, VA, departed this life on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Mulberry Creek Nursing Home, Martinsville, VA. He was born the son of the late George M. Toney and the late Mabel Legans in Franklin County, VA, on June 7, 1935. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Belcher and Lassie Belcher; and three brothers, George, Roy and Marshall Toney. Mr. Toney retired from the Furniture and Textile Industry.

Frank is survived by his four daughters, Janie Easley, Michelle Ramey, Patrinda Hughes and Connette Gill all of Martinsville, VA; four sons, Arthur Toney of Bassett, VA; Frankie Toney of Seattle, WA; Kenneth Toney of Martinsville, VA; and Frank Toney of Franklin County, VA; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Toney of Bassett, VA; Maceo Toney of Rocky Mount, VA; and Ronnie Toney of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private memorial service for the family only will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at The C. R. V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Bishop Frank Toney, Jr., Eulogist. All services will held with CDC guidelines with social distancing and face coverings.
