Through the marriage of our Granny Georgianna "Sookie" Clark to Tom Willie Clark we became family on my Mother's side. Upon the death of my Father my Mom being the only child sought love and help with her children from her Mother (our Granny). We're so blessed to be among such a beautiful extended family that took us under their wing and we grew up as Brothers and Sisters (not Cousins). Aunt Jane will be remembered as a strong, loving and caring woman. She got us through deaths within our immediate family and that I will never forget. Me as the writer was always told I got a loud mouth just like her. I use to make everyone laugh calling me like she use to...Birdie, my "Birdie". That will stay gifted in my heart forever. We love you and will truly miss seeing you on the porch when visiting.

I will miss seeing Mrs. Clark seated on her porch on Roundabout as will others who frequently passed by her house. Although I didn't know her personally, I did meet her once through her son George, who was one of my students at National College. She seemed to be a very pleasant lady. My sympathy to her family members who remain to carry on her legacy. Mrs. Alice Martin

I wish to express my sincere condolences. I have fond memories of Mr. Jane from Triple S Beauty Salon when Neese did her hair as a shampoo girl at the shop. She was a comical and sweet lady. She and my father would often converse when he sold papers in the neighborhood and delivered mail to her home. She will be missed. May God be your strength in the days to come.

Don't let your heart be troubled Mrs. Clark lived a life of longevity and dignity. She lived to see all of her children blossom into whatever rim they saw fit to encounter.
