Obituary For Gregory "Greg" Mosley, Sr.

Gregory “Greg” Mosley, Sr., 57, of 4234 Lexington Hwy (Route 60W), Amherst, VA, departed this life on Saturday, August 14. 2021 at Centra-Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, on July 2, 1964, the son of Jannie Lee Mosely, and the late Elliott Mosely.

Greg leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Jannie Lee Mosely of Selma, Alabama; two sons, Gregory (Alexis) Mosley, Jr. of Laurel, MD, and Tyrell (Monique) Mitchell of New Carrollton, MD; one sister, Debra Mosely of Selma, Alabama; one brother, Glen (Tartanitia) Moseley; and their daughter, Sloane Moseley all of Washington, DC; ex-wife, Geveria Scott, mother of Gregory, Jr., of Bowie, MD; Trudie Mitchell, mother of Tyrell, of New Carrollton, MD; three step-sons, Purcell (Nichole) Johnson, IV, Preston (Emerol) Johnson, and Jonathan (Latrese) Johnson; one step daughter, Tiffany Mitchell; 11 grandchildren; devoted friend, Lelia Christian of Amherst, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends, including the Sales and Jones families of Amherst, VA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 5 p.m. at the residence, 4234 Lexington Hwy, Amherst, VA, with Reverend Rodney Sandidge, presiding. Family and friends are asked to bring a lawn chair if desired.
