I am just now hearing about Harold's passing and in deep remorse. I wanted to sincerely express my condolences to his surviving family. Harold was the first adult figure to challenge and push me as a kid. Through his classes, I obtained a strong sense of discipline and toughness that I am sure has resonated with me throughout my adult years. He will be missed by me and the immeasurable amount of students that he has had a positive influence on. You will be missed sensei :-(. Kiai! Matthew Johnson

We are deeply saddened and our hearts go out to Harold's family and friends. We will truly miss hearing Harold's joyous whistling from across the street. It would always bring a smile to our faces; he was our neighborhood songbird. Never a day passed that he wouldn't smile and wave as we met going and/or coming home. We will keep you all in our thought and prayers now and the days to come. All our love, The Colledge Family

My prayers go out to his entire family. Harold was one of the best guys I've ever known. He was my sons karate instructor for many years. My boys admired him a great deal. He was so much more than a karate instructor. He taught my boys how to respect people, giving kindness to others and to overcome shyness. I am really thankful and proud to have know him. He will be missed.
