My condolences goes out the Jones family. Cousin Tracy this was the year we supposed to have meet for the first time at the Family Reunion. We both didn't make it. I will never forget you Cuz, you died on my birthday October 24. Love Fam!!!!

Many years ago I was complaining to Tracy about my husband spending a lot of time in the basement of our home. Tracy responded, "basements save marriages". Since that day, I have not complained about the time my husband spends in the basement. Grateful to have been connected to an OG. Sending love to his family.

Tracy was a real stand up guy. And was full of stories & history. Very knowledgeable. Didn't change from day one. He will be missed. Praying for the family.

As a fellow member of the Mavahi class of '73, I can attest to the fact that Tracy was a change agent, and was someone who was respected as a leader amongst classmates and faculty alike. In our youth, there was a core group of us who usually met up at Archie King's house. Life long bonds were formed there. But my best memory of Tracy goes back to our Greene Gravely little league baseball team. Our coaches were Wizard Gravely and David Draper. Calvin Millner, Gene Foster and Ronald Gravely were on that team. We were in a tight game with Frank's Food Fair and Tracy was instructed to bunt in order to bring the runner on third base home. He laid down a perfect bunt and we won the game. But during celebrations, I noticed that Tracy was in pain. His bunt was perfect because his finger tips helped deaden the impact of the ball hitting the bat. The elation of winning the game eclipsed the pain but I'm sure he suffered afterwards. But after high school we lost touch with each but when our paths did cross he always applauded my professional achievements which somehow through classmate networking were disseminated. We never got the chance to sit down and discuss my career setbacks! And with Facebook, we frequently exchanged posts relative to music, especially relative to his love of jazz. He was an avid supporter and encourager of my guitar playing as well. You have now joined some the others who used to meet up at Archie's house..Archie King, Gene Foster, Thomas Hairston and the rest. Rest well strong brother! You're in God's hands now. Family, focus on a life well lived as his Mavahi classmate will with pride!

Tracy was my KAPPA line brother. He was one who was full of life and a joy to have as a friend. May our Lord and Savior be with him and his family !!
