Jerrold Wesley Carter, 59 of Martinsville, Virginia was born August 19, 1966. He was transitioned from this earthly life on November 4, 2025 in Martinsville , Virginia. He was preceded in death to his father, John Westley Carter.

Jerrold was of the Christian faith and a member of Guildfield Baptist Church in Dry Fork, Virginia. He proudly served his country with the United States Army National Guard for 20 years plus with a larger than life personality. Jerrold lived every day to the fullest. He enjoyed fixing on cars especially sport cars. His life was full of incredible friendships.

Jerrold leaves to cherish his devoted wife, Bernadette Louise Carter for over 20 years. He put so much effort into pleasing his wife, Bernadette. He always went the extra miles to take care of her and let her know she was cherished.

He was a proud father of one son, Jerrold Wesley Carter (Lavern); one daughter, Kimberly Nicole Joseph (Robert) and a caring grandfather; and leaves memory of his loving and caring mother, Ruby Fitzgerald Carter; his sisters, Jennifer Dale Harris (Markell), Felecia Harris (Kenny), Rowena Carter, and Tanya Williams.

His legacy and love will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
