Obituary For Jerry C. Moseley
Our beloved Jerry Moseley 74, of Cardinal LN., Martinsville transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born on January 21, 1951, to the late Robert Moseley and Irma Travis Moseley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Moseley.
Jerry was affiliated with Mt. Zion AME Church in Martinsville, VA. He was a graduate of Martinsville High School, class of 1969. After graduation he continued his education at Patrick Henry Community College and Danville Community College where he completed his HVAC training. He went on to become an HVAC technician for fifty-one years until his retirement.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Linda Brooks Moseley of the home; one son, Jerry Moseley, Jr. of Stafford, VA; six grandchildren; two sisters, Irma Giles, and Louise Carter both of Martinsville, VA; one brother, Robert (Renee) Mosley of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A family visitation will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. until the time of his service at 12:00 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 869 Parkway Drive, Martinsville, VA.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the home, 1409 Cardinal Lane, Martinsville, VA at all other times. Live streaming of the funeral service will be available at Hairston Funeral Home live via Facebook.
