Obituary For Lee C. Hairston
Lee Carson Hairston, age 57 of Beckley, WV formerly of Landgraff and Keystone, WV departed this life on February 15, 2024, at his residence in Beckley, WV. Lee was the son of the late Edna B. Hairston-Martin. He was a member of Uprising Chapel United Holiness Church in Rolfe, WV, a graduate of Mt. View High School, Welch, WV and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick Hairston and Lucy Philpot Hairston, brother, Vincent Hairston, nephew, Brandon Hairston, niece, Tashauna Perkins.
He leaves to mourn his passing, brothers, Paul Hairston of Laurel, MD and Morgan (Sheri) Hairston of Lewes, DE, Sisters, Vivian Hairston of Raleigh NC, Lillie James of Conyers, GA, Sharon Hairston of Beckley (his caregiver during his illness), Jewel Hairston of Winter Garden, FL and Shirlee Brogdon of Keystone, WV Aunts Bessie Jo Jones of Hagerstown, MD, Viola Hairston, Bluefield, WV. His nephews and niece whom he grew up with, Roger and Jarrod (Shanta) Hairston, niece Yakima Hairston all of Raleigh, NC his loving Godmother, Sylvene Thomas, Godbrother Edwin Thomas, God sisters, Kim and Tina Thomas. Close high school classmates, Malcolm Pannell, Juan Thomas, Arnold Martin, Martin Holland, Leonard Hearns, Lisa Woody, and Elizabeth Reed. A host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on February 24, 2024, Visitation 11:00 Service 12:00 noon at Calvary United Holy Church, 1415 Highland Avenue, Bluefield, WV, with Pastor Donna Jackson officiating.
