Linda Marie Turner, 73, of Martinsville, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2026. She was born on December 18, 1952, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, to the late Jessie Turner and Cassie Mae Pritchett Turner.
Linda's life was a part of a beautiful story written by God's hands. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her passing reminds us that life is precious, love is everlasting, and faith gives us comfort even in our most sorrowful moments.
Linda was connected to her family and loved ones, including her son, Dirk Turner (Luciana) of Martinsville, VA; her aunt, Martha Lynch (Clarence) of Martinsville, VA; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish her memory. Each person who shared a part of her journey holds memories that time cannot erase.
Linda attended Bethel Way Church of Christ, reflecting a connection to the fellowship of believers and the spiritual foundation that offers strength and hope throughout life's journey.
Although our hearts are saddened by her departure, we find comfort in knowing that God promises to be near to the brokenhearted. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18, “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.” These words assure us that even in grief, we are never alone, and God's love remains steadfast.
