Obituary For Michael Ralphael Harris
Michael Ralphael Harris, 40, of Wood Street, Martinsville, VA departed from this life on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Martinsville, VA on December 16, 1984, to Ronnie Flenory Harris and Cheryl Walton Wilson.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Royal Walton and Juanita Clark Walton and his paternal grandparents, Thelma Harris and Ben Price.
Michael was employed by Eastman as Lead Shipping Forman for fifteen years. He was a graduate of Martinsville High School class of 2003. He later attended Hampton University, Hampton, VA. Michael was a member of Shiloh Apostolic Temple under the pastorate of Bishop James Millner.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Cheryl Walton Wilson (Johnny) of Martinsville, VA; father, Ronnie Flenory Harris of Martinsville, VA; fiancΓ©, Ariel D. Martin of Martinsville, VA; special daughter, Aubrey Price of Martinsville, VA; sister, Keondra Shelton of Stoneville, NC; two uncles, Donald Walton of Collinsville, VA and Dennis Harris of Martinsville, VA; special cousin/sister, Jasmine Morrison of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
A visitation service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 12 noon at Refuge Temple Ministries, 205 Clearview Dr., Martinsville, VA with Dr. Eric Hairston, Presiding, and Bishop James Millner, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 869 Parkway Dr., Martinsville.
A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Johnny Wilson, 807 Banks Rd., Martinsville. Live streaming of the funeral service will be available at Hairston Funeral Home live via Facebook.
