Michael Lamont Webster 47, of Fayette St., Martinsville, VA departed this life on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. He was born in Martinsville, VA on October 6, 1973, the son of Willie Craig and the late Walter Lee Webster.
In addition to his father, Mr. Webster was preceded in death by his cousin/brother, Tyrone Hairston; maternal grandfather, William Craig; paternal grandparents, Walter C. and Shirley Webster; and one uncle, James Hairston.
Michael was a member of Divine Faith Holiness Church, Martinsville, VA. He was a graduate of Martinsville High School and he was disabled.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Willie Craig of Martinsville, VA; one sister, Shemika Jefferson of Martinsville, VA; five cousins/brothers, Arshay Jefferson, VShawn Webster, and Anthony Webster all of Martinsville, VA, Rochette Hairston of Georgia and Rodrick Hairston of Roanoke, VA; maternal grandmother, Gladys Craig of Martinsville, VA; one nephew, Jaikee Jefferson of Martinsville, VA; two aunts, Barbara Fuller and Cathy Craig both of Martinsville, VA; two uncles, Clarence Hairston of Roanoke, VA and Roy (Rita) Craig of Maryland; three best friends, Michael (Woodz) Belcher, Michael Finney and Larry Jones all of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Webster will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Elder Marshall Well Eulogist. A public viewing for Mr. Webster will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 12 Jackson St., Martinsville, VA. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering and social distancing is required. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens.

I will always remember all the fun we had growing up. Hanging out at the library...getting kicked out of the library. Talking, laughing, and me begging you to make my name in shop class and you just being one of my best friends. As time went by, we grew apart, but I never forgot our laughs! I will miss you but will always celebrate and cherish your life.
Mike was the oldest out of our crew (NFL) Who always kept us laughing with his karate kicking and singing, although he could really sing a little bit . I will DEFINITELY miss my brother but i will NEVER forget him. Your homie Larry Love..
