Paula and Travis Family, we share condolences and heartfelt memories of Mrs. Mildred who brought a smile and calmness to all in her presence.
Mrs. Travis' life greatly impacted the lives of countless people as well as mine. As a teacher, she was a pillar in the community, and as a neighbor, she was sweet, kind and charming, with a bashful smile that just touched my heart. During my early pre-teen years until recent years, whether sitting on the porch, in the family den, or on the phone, I valued our chat times as nuggets of blessings in my life. Those memories will remain in my heart. She was just that special to me. Paula, thank you for sharing your mother. May the photos and innumerable memories help make this journey more bearable for you and those who loved her.

She helped to solidly lay the foundation for my future. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
