On behalf of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, we would like to send our condolences to the Sis. Beard and the children. We were sadden to hear of Bro. Beard's transition. We will always remember Bro. Beard when he attended Mt. Olivet always a spiritual member and loved God. But we are praying for your strength in the coming days. As 2 Corinthians 5:8 says "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord" Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Bedford, VA
You will be truly missed! Thank you for your kindness, your love, & laughter over the years. You were there for myself & sisters since birth & for that alone we will cherish your memory forever & always. I love you! Rest in heaven.
My dearest family, Words cannot express the sorrow I feel over the passing of our dear Mitch. He was more than a son-in-law to me; he was a kind & joyful man who brought so much happiness into our lives. I will always cherish the memories of our spades games. He had a way of making every round fun, & I will truly miss his laughter filling the room. He could make anyone smile, & his playful spirit will be deeply missed. Mitch was a true child of God, & his faith was an inspiration to all of us. He lived his beliefs through his actions, always willing to help anyone who needed it. He had a great smile & a giving heart, & it's comforting to know that a soul so kind is now at peace in heaven with the Lord. It was a joy to see the love he had for his children & grandchildren. That love will live on through them, a beautiful legacy of his caring & devoted spirit. Though I will miss him, I am grateful for the time he, his wife Lorraine & I had together. He will forever be in my heart. With love an & deepest sympathy, T.J. Brown
