Aunt Amy was always the same to me. Sweet with a quiet determined spirit. Always had food to offer you and wanted you to rest for awhile. No visit was complete without seeing her while in Martinsville. Now no more suffering. She now gets her rest and can celebrate with her siblings, etc. Christine, D.C.(niece)
Honoring the sweetest mother. I love you mom, rest, no more pain. Always the wind beneath my wings.
First giving honor to God who is the author and finisher of my faith, I want to express my sincerest condolences for the transition of Mother Amy M. Hairston. Though I wasn't able to meet her, I know she is present with God and has earned her reward. I want to extend my love, thoughts, and prayers to the Hairston/Marshall family today and in the coming days. Grief can be unexpected as waves - deep, unpredictable, and overwhelming - at times. With this I offer some encouragement as you navigate through the oceans of life - "God never promised life would be fair, but when you inevitably have to confront the unfairness of life, HE will be with you." May you continue to remain in the light of love, extending it freely to one another as you carry on her legacy. I'm there with you in spirit, honoring her life and spirit today.
Be.Encouraged <3
