After Matthew and I visited you all yesterday at visitation a song came on the radio and oh how appropriate and true it was... it said "the only scars in Heaven, they won't belong to me and you There'll be no such thing as broken, and all the old will be made new and the thought that makes me smile now even as the tears fall down is that the only scars in Heaven are on the hands that hold you now." Honestly, I didn't know Nick but my Daughters (also MVHS Seniors) did and they are deeply saddened about his passing. From everything I've heard about him from my Daughters, in the past and after last Thursday's tragic accident, He was a great young man. The amount of tears that was shed by everyone proves that. I read last week that "Tears is us talking to GOD when we don't know what to say." I feel that is appropriate for this situation. I cried myself, as a Christian and as a father, for Him and you the Family. I'm at a loss for words. Thank GOD he was a Christian and saved by the blood of Jesus. Myself and my family have prayed for you, the family, many times since this tragedy. We have also prayed for Rico, Cole, Luke and their families. Please know that we will continue to do that and we pray that all involved will feel the power, presence, peace, Mercy and Grace that GOD gives us during these difficult times. GOD Bless
