Obituary For Patricia Farrell

Ms. Patricia A. King Farrell was born on June 15, 1944 and passed away on August 16, 2018 at 3 am Thursday morning at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. Pat, as she was known as, is survived by a daughter, Lisa Farrell, four grandchildren including Christopher Rippie, Rochelle Hodge, Tyrell Williams, Trice Williams; and a brother, Roy B King Jr. Another grandson, Tony Jones, preceded her in death. Ms. Farrell was married at age 20 to Daniel Farrell, a union of which her daughter was born Pat worked for 40+ years as a receptionist/clerk at Kaiser Permanente. Ms. Farrell worked in a variety of their medical programs. Her last work environment was with the Department of Behavioral Health, Addictions Medicine & Psychiatry. Pat enjoyed debating politics, social issues and ideas and was passionate in her beliefs. In her younger years she love to dance, go to parties and listen to music. She was a Christian and frequently listed to radio and television preachers, evangelists and church services.She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Lillian Price King and the late Roy King, Sr.

The family will receive friends 1/2 hr. prior to the service, and all other times at the home of a niece Cheryl Millner, 413 Second St., Martinsville, Va.

Funeral service will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul High Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Matthew Brown, Officiating. The burial will be held in Carver Memorial Gardens, Martinsville, VA.
