Patricia Mae Holland Wade Millner departed this life on Saturday, April 4, 2026, and went home to be with the Lord. She was born on June 5, 1940, in Roanoke, Virginia.
Patricia was one of three children born to the late Oakley Holland and Lilly Mae Holland of the Carver Land area of Henry County. She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, the late Clearance Wade, Jr., in 1953. Patricia was a proud alumnus of Lee M. Waid High School of Franklin County, VA. She dedicated many years of service to Bassett Chair Manufacturing and later worked at J.D. Bassett factory in Bassett, VA, where she touched many lives with her care and kindness.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wade, Jr., one son, Anthony Wade, and stepdaughter, Goldie Rumley.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: one son, Reginald Wade of Bassett, VA; one daughter, Sharon Wade Ward of Bassett, VA; She is also lovingly remembered by her stepchildren, Molly Rumley Wray, Ronnie Rumley, Ed Rumley and Lester Rumley; granddaughter, Monique Ward; grandsons, Irwin Ward, Jr and Uriah Wade, Jr.; great-great granddaughter, Sanya Callaway.
Patricia also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends who will continue to honor her legacy of love, strength, and faith.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A visitation service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. with the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA with Dr. Varnell Hairston McKenzie, Progressive Prayer Temple, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 869 Parkway Dr., Martinsville.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, 921 Sunset Dr., Bassett, VA.
