On Thursday, October 19, 2023, Roy Haislup 52, of Haislip LN., Axton, VA transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. He was born in S. Korea on August 21, 1971, the son of Cephas Haislup, and Yong Chong Haislup.
Roy was a 1991 graduate of Laurel Park High School. He was employed at VF Outdoors as a forklift operator.
Those left to cherish his memory includes his parents, Cephas and Yong Chong Haislup of Axton, VA; three sons, Catorae Haislup of Axton, VA, Chaz Haislup of Martinsville, VA, and Chae Haislup of Orlando, FL; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA with Pastor John Breedlove, Eulogist. The burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 1310 Carver Rd., Martinsville, VA.
