Senora Brown, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Martinsville Health & Rehab Center. Born October 29, 1928, in McDowell County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Dave Brown and Dewery Richardson Brown who preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents, Senora was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold C. Brown, and Calvin Brown.
After the passing of her parents, Senora was left in the care of the late Myrtle Carter.
Senora was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Reverend Samuel W. Adams, where she was a member of the choir.
Those left to cherish her memory includes: two sister-in-law, Mildred G. Brown, and Veola Brown both of Martinsville, VA; special niece, Velma Carter of Martinsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Carver Memorial Gardens,1310 Carver Rd., Martinsville, VA with Minister Earnest Long, Officiating. Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
