Shelia G. Dillard, 60 of 121 Roosevelt Drive, Ridgeway, VA departed this life on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at her home. Known to many as “Pinky”, she was born July 10, 1965, in Martinsville, VA to the late Henry Alexander and Dorothy Morrison Dillard.
Shelia was a graduate of Laurel Park High School. In her early years, she worked many years at Burger King. She then went on to work at several distribution centers before becoming disabled. Later in life she decided to go to college and attended Averett University where she earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business/human resources.
At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at Jerusalem Christian Church. She attended Meadow Christian Church before her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Murial Dillard (Babycake) and Cecil Stone (Possum).
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Brenda Hairston; her brothers, Henry Travis Dillard, Corey Dillard (Delois) and Steven Dillard (Traketa); a special friend, James Rumley; her nephews and nieces, whom she loved; Darwin Dillard, James Hairston, Desmond Hairston, Traveon Dillard, Takara Dillard, Tenisha Dillard, Tyana Dillard and Tashayla Dillard; her great-nieces and nephews, whom she loved more, Darwin Jr., TaMya, Zyon, Aubrey, O’livyah, London, Paris, Destiny, Kaylani, Jaqueze, Daquan, and Kye; numerous cousins, other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Morrison Family Cemetery, Stockton Rd., Martinsville.
The family extends a special Thank You to Davita Dialysis Center, Martinsville for their care over years.
