On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Steven Dandridge 63, of Mountain Rd., Martinsville, VA transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life at his residence. He was born in Martinsville, VA on May 8, 1960, to the late Tommie Joe Dandridge, Jr., and Delois Hairston Dandridge. In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his brother, Tommie Joe Dandridge III.
Steven was a graduate of Martinsville High School class of 1978. He was employed by Springs for a number of years before becoming disabled.
Those left to cherish his memory include one sister, Kimberly D. Dandridge of Martinsville, VA; one brother, Mark A. Dandridge (Cassandra) of Martinsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A visitation service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Evangelist Toni Ramey Webster, Eulogist. The burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 869 Parkway Dr., Martinsville, VA. A public viewing will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mark & Cassandra Dandridge 1413 Mountain Rd., Martinsville, VA.
