Tammy P. “Boo” Dillard, 58, of 904 Highland Ridge, Martinsville, VA, departed this life Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Sovah Health in Martinsville, VA. Mrs. Dillard was born in Virginia on September 11, 1961; she was the daughter of the late Carl M. Preston and late Mary Elizabeth Wade Preston. She attended Martinsville High School and was a member of Refuge Temple Ministries in Martinsville, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David A. Dillard, three brothers Marshall Flowers Preston, Thurman Preston, and Alvin Preston, and two sisters Jeanette Preston and Teresa Preston. She is survived by her two daughters Roshannon Preston of Martinsville, VA, Brittany P. Hairston and her husband Jacob of Hinesville, GA, one son, Andre L. Preston and his wife April of Martinsville, VA, one stepson, David Dillard and his wife Kelly of Concord, NC, one stepdaughter, Temika Dillard and her husband Brad of Martinsville VA, 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and three step grandchildren. She was also survived by seven sisters, Mary C. Taylor, Joann “Judy” Goggins and her husband Robert, Brenda Preston, Norma P. Patterson and her husband Timothy, Regina A. Preston, Aileen P. Wells and her husband Leroy, and Lisa P. Richardson and her husband Leon, three brothers, Carl W. Preston, Matthew “Rags” Preston, and Elder A. Preston and his wife Gloria, all of Martinsville, VA, as well as a special friend, Lynwood Turner. Funeral Services for Mrs. Dillard will be held at Refuge Temple Ministries in Martinsville, VA Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11am. Visitation for Mrs. Dillard will be held Thursday, August 6, 202 from 1-5pm at the C.R.V Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home.

Tammy was a very sweet person she didn't say a lot but when she did you knew it ... yes she will be miss praying for Pastor Alan Preston and the entire Preston and Dillard Family..
