Obituary For Tracy Dawn Hodnett
Tracy Dawn Hodnett, age 49, of Banks Road, Martinsville, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Riverside Health & Rehab Center in Danville, Virginia.
She was born on June 9, 1977, in Franklin County, Virginia, to Roger Royal and the late Linda Preston Ziglar. Tracy was a proud 1996 graduate of Salem High School in Salem, Virginia.
Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Preston Ziglar.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Moses Hodnett of Danville, VA; her loving brother, Tommy Preston, and his wife, Shirley, of Martinsville, Virginia; along with a host of cherished aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who will miss her deeply.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville.
