Rest in Heaven!!! Rest in Peace!!! "Nephew"
Missing your sweet smile, words of encouragement, sarcasm and strut! Mom and I are truly going to miss you dearly. Rest in the Lord, Auntie. I'm proud you called me "Nephew", and told me stories about my mom, you Phillip and Buddy. You are missed already... Rest in Heaven!!! Rest in Peace!!!!
To our Auntie cousin Annie Guy Holmes you will forever hold a special place in our hearts. You showed up at all the family reunions and gathering no matter the distance and put a smile on all of our faces. You sung my mom favorite song at her funeral "Sending up my temple everyday", you remind me so much of her "Elease Tolliver Morris", I know you are singing together in that Heavenly Choir for God doesn't see his children as dying he simply see them as coming home so welcome home my good and faithful servant you have fought a good fight you have finished your course a crown of righteousness await you on that great day. #gonebutwillneverbeforgotten
Sis. Holmes will be deeply missed. The song Father Abraham will never be the same because no one can hype it up as much as she did, especially with the whistle blowing in between. She didn't have any children of her own but those of us who were blessed enough to be under her wings at Fairview were definitely challenged by her to learn, study and live the word of God. She was direct but we all knew that she meant well by it and she was deeply respected and we looked forward to being apart of VBS and any class that she was teaching. May her legacy live in. Will be greatly missed and love you until we meet again.
Mother and family, Sister Holmes will be greatly missed. Quite the example, She served God by serving her family, friends and her fellow man. We will miss you Sis. Holmes
Sis. Holmes will be missed with her bautiful spirit & singing. Sending my condolences to the family. Ruby Sands Williams

Today I thank God for the life and love of My Lovely Annie Mae. Annie Mae was my moral / spiritual compass - my guiding light - my dear Friend / Sister and a true Mentor. I know she wouldn't want me to cry - but my soul aches for her - knowing I will never again get her powerful hugs and kisses that made me feel so loved. Annie Mae - more than anyone I have ever known (pastors included) LIVED her faith in God. We would do Bible Study by phone. She'd instruct me to read a scripture passage and call her the next day with what I got out of it. Sometimes, I would tell her what I thought it meant. And she'd say, "Go back and read it again." A more loving, generous, kind, Christian person you will not find. She was still singing God's praises ( no secular music for Annie Mae) at 93. I have recordings of her belting out "To God be the glory for the great things He's done in my life." Annie Mae EARNED her wings in her time here on earth. So I KNOW she has her wings in Heaven now. And that Heavenly choir just got a big boost of talent. I love you, Annie Mae. Love you, love you, love you. Until we meet again... Judie Garca
