I am so very blessed to have briefly known Mr. Cal! I knew Mr. Cal in a business setting and he blessed my heart the few times I had the pleasure of speaking with him. It felt like I had known him all my life. I will never, ever forget when, and how he told me that he enjoyed our talks of each our walk with the Lord, and when we had those conversations, Jesus was with us. What a joy it was to know him! To Mrs. Abbott and family, May God comfort you all!
Mr. Calvin was our neighbor. He is what makes a great neighbor and neighborhood. Always willing to help anyone, always kind, and always a loving heart for you and the Lord. We will miss seeing you weed eat your ditch and waving as we passed , your smile and laughter. Love your neighbor Wayne & Gerry Davis

The best Uncle for me. His love for all of his family and others was as wide as the world. My Mother, Mildred Harrell, just adored him and he loved her back with same intensity. He was an humanitarian, his soul longed to please God and support people every where he went. Life in a world where Uncle Cal won't be is a struggle. He was acrock, a shining star, voice of reason, gentle soul, living husband, everybody's best friend, compassionate, a great listner, he never gossiped, or spoke ill of his family, friends, or others. His was laser focused on being a Godly man, loving Father and God's best, ready for duty, humble, submitted soldier. Well done Uncle Cal, God's good and faithful soldier. -Your niece, Gayle.
