Juanita Hill

To the family, you all have my deepest sympathy. Mrs Hill was a loving and very kind person. She was one of the best teachers at Shady Grove who truly cared about her students. I will never forget taking her typing class in 9th grade. She would say stop looking at your fingers and to look at the book instead". I was so afraid to look away so she threatened to take a ruler and pop me on my knuckles which made her smile. She had a way of getting you to do your work even when you didn't want to. By the end of the year I was typing 65 words a minute. The following year I took Advance Typing and passed with an A. She said to me I knew you could do it. Thank you Mrs. Hill for always caring.
