He is survived by his loving wife, Shelia Coates; daughter, Latoya Coates; sons, Lionel Coates and Travis Holden; a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Interdenominational Faith Assembly, 5045 Greenwell St. from 8:00am until Funeral Services commence at 10:00am, Pastor Guervara Johnson officiating. Entombment: Heavenly Gates Cemetery of Baton Rouge. Services Entrusted to Hall Davis and Son Funeral Services.
