Mrs.Valerie,I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you and your family during this time.
Words cannot express the feeling that I have for my Nan-Nan. Lula Mae Brown was the epitome of beauty, grace, love, and dedication. I do not remember a time when our Aunt Lou was not in the picture. From babysitting, taking momma to the store, telling stories of when she and my grandma Leona Brown were raising their kids next door to each other, the kids' birthday parties at her house, and her perseverance when she lost her daughter and husband, my Nan-Nan remained steadfast, while realizing (obedience) that God still had a purpose for her life. To have known her is to love her. I can hear her laughing now and saying, "Godchild, that's between you and me." I love you and will miss you dearly Lula Mae Brown.
To my family—the ones who are grieving alongside me—I pray God wraps each of us in His comfort and gives us the strength to walk through this together.
God has welcomed you home, Grandmother. Your faith, your kindness, and your love shaped generations. You lived a long, beautiful life filled with love. Your life was a blessing, and your memory is a treasure. Thank you for the love and strength you gave our family. Until we meet again. Later.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
