To the Holden family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Eternal rest granted unto the soul of President Mayor Holden and may the perpetual light shine upon him. I just want to thank you for all you have done for the State of Louisiana and Baton Rouge. Rest in peace from your Louisiana Native and Xavierite brother.

The world has lost a great man. His wisdom, kindness, and strength left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. May his memory continue to inspire us all, and may you find comfort in the legacy he leaves behind. My deepest sympathies during this difficult time.
