Lonnie was my cousin. It has been just over a year since I saw him last. I visited him in Houston. I remember how proud I was on my way back home, seeing all he had accomplished professionally and as a father to his beautiful daughter. I will miss his great personality and loving spirit. His father would be so proud of the young man Lonnie became.

I spent many nights having conversations with Lonnie when we worked together. He was a hard worker, taught me many things to make me better at my job. He loved Jesus and his family. Another tragic end to a young life. Lauren, I hope you all know how much your daddy loved you!

My husband and I first met Lonnie at a Charleston Southern University basketball game. He and our son were friends. To the Moore family, we are praying for you. May God strengthen you during this time of sorrow and grief.
