Obituary For Jimmy Williams, Sr.

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more, And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore, And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there!

It is with an humbled heart that the staff and management of Harrington Funeral Home Inc; along side The Williams Family, as we bow in humble submission to the will of our almighty God. God has decided to close the eyes of the late:

Mr. Jimmy Williams Sr. (65) of Valdosta, Georgia on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 - It is at this time that we ask you, to continue to pray with and for the Williams Family as they process the lost of Mr. Williams on this side, but heavens gain on the other side.

Jimmy Williams was born on March 14, 1954 in Lakeland Georgia to the late Lossie and Penella Williams.

He received his education though the Lowndes County School System. He was a custodian for Lowndes County School System for many years. He had accepted Christ and was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Barretts, Georgia where he serve as a choir member. One thing for sure Jimmy love to sing his praises to the Lord. As the years pass by he later joined New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia where he loves singing with the Male choir. He is preceded in death by his parents: Lossie and Penella Williams, one sister Barbara Ann Crawford, one grandson Desmond, one niece Tracey Crawford, one nephew William White.

He leave to cherish his memories two daughter Falicia Williams of Hahira, GA; Keitha (Travis) Hodges of Valdosta, GA; one son Pastor Jimmy Jay (Jennifer) Williams Jr. of Hahira, Ga; one granddaughter Zoey Hodges of Valdosta, GA; two sisters Shirley (James) White and Geraldine (Dwight) Copeland both of Valdosta, GA; two aunt Queen Brown and Alicia Miller both of Valdosta, Ga; nieces and nephews James, Lossie (Debra), Tara, Don (Felecia), James Jr, Allen, Tekisha (Michael), Cheryl (Tony) all of Valdosta Ga. Also, a host of caring relatives and friends.

Home Going Services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 am from the sanctuary of New Jerusalem Baptist Church - 3488 Engberg Avenue, Valdosta, Ga. Reverend George Blunt, is pastor however Pastor Jimmy "Jay" Williams Jr; will officiate. Burial will follow in The Pallbearers Cemetery.

Services of comfort are being handled by Harrington Funeral Home Inc. on behalf of the Williams Family.
