Gone too soon but never forgotten.
"My Brother From Another Mother" From the first time we met Our instant connection was set It was that smile of yours for me A smile so bright it is hard to fathom That I will never again see
That time you invited me to your home I will always remember how after everyone Else had gone How we just sat and hung out Celebrating the 5th and you showing me around Just us two alone
Your energy was so addictive and free I loved watching you as you danced Moving like the wind Blowing through the trees
In such a short span of time So many memories with you were made I will keep them in a special place Inside my head And in my heart, I will always remember How you would say my name And how it made me smile inside..
So, brother this is not a letter of goodbye But only a note to say I will see you later On the other side Pain and suffering are All now gone Rest In Peace and May your spirit fly free Landing into the arms of the All Mighty. Dee
I literally can not fathom this. Calvin has been a true friend since we met in around 2005. We've spent many a nights hanging out in NJ, Philly, even NYC and even a few times in FL once he decided to O move to the Sunshine State! I last heard from him o. 04/10 and he promised he was ok! I found out of this passing on my own as it is not like him to return messages/calls. Rest in peace to a true best friend.
I was and shocked and saddened to hear of Calvin's illness and passing. He was truly a special and memorable person. When opportunities to work with him presented themselves, I looked forward to his intellect and wisdom guiding customers and providing them with feasible solutions. He is missed!
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I would like to send my condolences to the family of Calvin Shaw. Calvin was that type of person that once you became friends you were always friends. He was kind and gentle. Calvin will be missed. Crying my endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. Stay strong and remember to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
