Denise was my first cousin. We attended Gospel Hall Assembly in Brooklyn for Sunday School and worship service. I fondly remember our walk from Classon Avenue Meeting Room to my grandmother's house on Hancock Street for a hearty Sunday Caribbean dinner of peas and rice and stewed chicken. His mother, my Aunt Carmen, often took Dennis, his brother Richard (who passed a few months ago), my siblings and me to parks in Brooklyn and museums in Manhattan. Fond memories of his young life in Brooklyn.

My friend, coworker, and fellow New Yorker your friendship here in Valdosta Ga. was a bright spot in my life. As well as Hazel saying to me "Doc you talk like a used car salesman" and Dennis would just shrug his shoulders and give a half smile. Dennis and I worked night shift at VSP for 18 years together. We saw some crazy things. We both retired from VSP and attempted to go fishing at his fishing hole. We never did make it to his fishing spot after 2hrs of driving around South Georgia and North Florida. We should have gone to breakfast first. Dennis' sugar was low and he was just a little confused. I had to buy some fish from store that day. That's my buy Dennis.
We're praying for our Heavenly Father to continully strengthen Hazel, his children, hisfamily and friends during this difficult time ππΏππΏππΏπΉ
