A resident of Valdosta, Georgia, Mr. Lane concluded his earthly journey on the morning of Friday, April 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of memories cherished by those who knew and loved him. We pause to honor his life, his contributions to his community, and the spirit he shared with the world.

Celebration of Life: With heartfelt reverence, the family of Mr. Derek L. Lane announces his Homegoing Celebration, to be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Services will be conducted at Grace Victory Church, Valdosta, Georgia.
Committal services and burial will follow in the Pallbearers Cemetery.
We gather to honor his memory, cherish his life, and commend his spirit into eternal rest.
