It is with a sorrowful heart that we announce the passing of:

Mr. Freddie Felton 66 - of Valdosta Georgia, transitioned from this busy walk of life from labor to reward.

Freddie Felton passed away peacefully at the Langdale Hospice House on October 31, 2022. Freddie was born to George Scott and Ruby Felton on November 6,1954 in Valdosta, Georgia. He was educated in the Valdosta City School system.

Fred enjoyed life, family members, and friends. He was always there to brighten the lives of others with an exchange of interesting ideas. His sense of humor would light up their day. Fred was committed to family, making sure that they all knew of his support for them in every way. Grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Johanna Small-Felton; brother, Donald Scott; sisters, Deborah Dalton, Merlene Scott; brothers-in-law, Thomas Small, Bobby Woods, Sam Small, Freddie Lee Small; uncles, Donnel Felton, Willie Felton, Jr., Calvin Felton, Robert Felton, Lester Felton, MSgt. Alonzo Felton, Howard Humphrey; aunts, Louise Humphrey, Helen Felton, Dorothy Cowart, Inez Felton, Mary McCoggle; nephew, Rahaman “Ray” Felton.

Fred leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his very devoted brother, Frank (Phyllis) Felton; children, Earl (Velma) Small, Lateris (Melvin) Gatlin, Elaine (Authur) Bennett, Vincent (Tamara) Small; aunts, Margaret (Marion) Willis of Warner, Robins, Ga.; a loving and dedicated granddaughter, Loren; a loyal friend, Edith Baynes; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 05, 2022, from the Ralph Harrington Memorial Chapel.
