A Gentle Reflection: “The Measure of a Man”
Not — how did he die? But — how did he live? Not — what did he gain? But — what did he give? These are the units to measure the worth of a man, as a man, regardless of birth. Not — what was his station? But — had he a heart?
How did he play his God-given part? Was he ever ready with a word of good cheer, to bring back a smile, to banish a tear? Not — what did the sketch in the newspaper say, but — how many were sorry when he passed away?
Final Arrangements are entrusted to: Harrington Funeral Home, Inc. 713 Lake Park Road Valdosta, GA (229) 242–2828
We encourage each of you to visit our Tribute Wall at to share your thoughts, cherished memories, and messages of comfort to the Johnson family during this sacred time of remembrance and reflection.
“May his memory be a legacy, and his life a light that continues to shine.”
