It is with profound sorrow, the McBurrough family has instructed the caring professionals at Harrington Funeral Home, Inc., to promulgate to all that their beloved: Mr. Gregory Keith McBurrough 57 - Gregory gained his wings on June 4, 2022, at Piedmont Hospital in Henry County.
Gregory Keith McBurrough was born on March 29, 1965, to the late Ulysses McBurrough Sr. and Dorothy Watson McBurrough in Valdosta, Ga.
He united with Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He later served as a Deacon. He was a member of Restoration Fellowship Church. He was a faithful and dedicated husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle. Gregory was devoted to his family.
He graduated from Valdosta High School in 1983 and later from an online Technical College. With his first experience from Langdale, he became a Certified Truckdriver. His current job was Roadway Yellow Trucking Company Marietta, Ga. He was a dedicated Truckdriver for 31 years. Gregory loved the great outdoors. He spent a lot of time cleaning around their home and rental properties. He meticulously maintained their lawn. He affectionately loved his fast cars, especially his Mustang.
He was preceeded in death by. His Father: Ulysses McBurrough Sr.; Grandmother: Mable Watson; Brothers: Dale McBurrough and Jerome McBurrough; Brother-in-law: John Jones, Rufus Sirmans and Dennis Sirmans all of Valdosta, Ga., John M. Sirmans Jr. of Quitman, Ga.; Grandson: Ecari Kier; Neice: Latosha White; Father-in-law: John M. Sirmans Sr.; Mother-in-law: Vera Sirmans of Valdosta, Ga.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving Wife: Vera Sirmans McBurrough ”Cupcake”; Daughter: Kaneesha McBurrough of Valdosta, Ga.; Sons: Gregory McBurrough Jr.,Javier McBurrough, and Craig Wooten all of Valdosta, Ga.; Mother: Dorothy McBurrough of Valdosta, Ga.; Grandchildren: Emrick Kier Jr., and Kamora Gordon; Brother: Ulysses McBurrough Jr. (Shirley) of Tampa, Fl; five Sisters: Cynthia Harris, Bernadette Jones, Sharon Williams, Pamela Barron all of Valdosta, Ga., and Tonya Taylor ( Eric) of Tifton, Ga.; sisters-in-law: Jawanna McBurrough, Helen Sirmans Harris (Kelvin) of Tucson, Az., Minister Sharon Sirmans Shaw of Valdosta, Ga., and Delesia Dismuke Sirmans of Jacksonville, Fl.; Brothers-in-law: Curtis Sirmans (Corliss) of Quitman, Ga., Michael Sirmans (Keiko), and Alvin Sirmans (Marissa) both of Avondale, Az.; two Uncles: James McBurrough (Essie), and Johnny Watson (Amanda) both of Valdosta, Ga.; Aunts: Mary Harrell of Valdosta, Ga., Juanita Mitchell (Evon) of South Carolina; as well as a special Niece: Fallon Harris (Nuk); two special Friends: Pastor Eddie Curry, and Michael McElrath; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of more devoted friends and coworkers.

Life Celebration Services will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 3:00 PM from the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
A Shared Memory. Following the Celebration of Life Services, it was Greg's requisition to be cremated. Information is forthcoming from The McBurrough Family.

I will miss Greg. We rolled many a mile with Roadway Express together. Gregory always seemed to be looking on the positive side of life and is a true friend. I'm sorry that we never got to ride our motorcycles together. I did enjoy him calling me after I retired and my wife passed. I believe that I will see Greg again when my time comes to go and be with our Lord Jesus.

My condolences to the family Gregory was like a brother to me we worked together at yrc Freight always had some wise words for me every time I saw him we would have a few laughs, rest on my brother till we meet again.
I am so sad to hear this news. I've know Greg since he started at Roadway in Valdosta. I always enjoyed seeing and talking with him. I've been blessed to know him. He was my friend. I will miss him.
