Some bright morning when this life is over, I'll fly away to that home on God's celestial shore…….
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the Harrington Funeral Home Inc. staff announce the passing of the late:
Mr. Hosea Holmes Jr., of Valdosta GA.was born on March 27, 1940, to the late Hosea Holmes Sr. and Annie Lois Hill. He received his education at Valdosta City School System. He worked and retired working for Moody Air Force Base Cleaning Services, where he supervised and managed for 22 years. He loved and was dedicated to his job and always went above and beyond his work, to ensure the cleanliness of the base. After retiring, he then transferred into having his own solo cleaning business and would contract for other small businesses for 5 years after retiring. Not only was he a dedicated, hard-working man, he also proved to be an over exceptionally, devoted, loving husband to Emma Holmes for 35 years, and a passionate, loving, outstanding father to twelve kids.
