We shared so many moments but my most memorable moment is sitting shoulder to shoulder with you as we both graduated from Auburn University. We were so young and so proud of ourselves lol. Bug we had so many good times. You always kept it real and had a word of encouragement. Long live BUG! Love you bro

Bud, the whole old neighborhood got so many memories of you. We grew up together and graduated Valdosta High School together. You were family to all of us. I am still in shock. You will forever be missed. Thank you Larry and Ms. Tootsie for being there for Bud. He was always a good kid growing up. I have no doubts about the man he became. I wish all of us from the neighborhood could sit on the stoop of Ms. Mary's porch to laugh and talk like we use to. RIP Larry Melton Jr.(Bud)

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of [Larry Melton]. It's hard to believe that I was just talking with him recently — we were chatting about the Atlanta Falcons, and he had that easy way of turning even small talk into a genuine moment.
Please know that my thoughts are with you and everyone who was close to him. He will be missed here, not only for the work he did but for the kindness and warmth he brought to the team.
If there's anything I can do to support during this time, please don't hesitate to reach out.
