Official Notice of Transition: With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of: Mr. Marcus Bernard Walker Jr., of Quitman, Georgia.

The Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the Serenity To accept the things I cannot change… Courage to change the things I can,
And Wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, Enjoying one moment at a time, Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace. Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, Not as I would have it.

Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will. That I may be reasonably happy in this life, And supremely happy with Him forever in the next. Amen.

The clock of life for Mr. Walker began on March 18, 2005, and he departed this earthly journey on January 10, 2026, at the age of 20. Though his time with us was brief, his presence left a meaningful imprint on the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services for Mr. Marcus Bernard Walker, Jr. A solemn and heartfelt Celebration of Life honoring Mr. Marcus Bernard Walker, Jr. will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Our Daily Bread Ministries, 715 Griffin Ave, Valdosta, Georgia.

Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Pallbearers Cemetery, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

We extend our sincere condolences to the Walker family, friends, and all who were blessed to share in his journey. May you find comfort, strength, and peace during this time of loss.
