With profound sympathy and heartfelt reverence, we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Michael Lewis Stafford of Valdosta, Georgia. He was blessed into the earth realm on November 27, 1958, and crossed the Golden Bar on October 6, 2026, at the age of 67.
A man who crosses the Golden Bar leaves the shores of time with dignity, his work completed and his legacy entrusted to those who remain. Though his earthly voyage has ended, the love he shared, the wisdom he imparted, and the memories he created will continue to shine as a guiding light in the hearts of all who knew him.
In Loving Memory of Michael L. Stafford: A Service of Celebration and Remembrance
Family and friends will gather to honor the life and legacy of Mr. Michael L. Stafford on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion AME Church. Following the service, interment will take place at Rocky Hill Church Cemetery.
May the Stafford family find comfort in the cherished memories of his life and strength in the love and support that surround them during this sacred time of remembrance.

Michael Lewis Stafford was not just a fun loving guy growing up. He was my cousin. Mike always had a smile, but taking a page out of Uncle Isiah's hand book! "He did things his Way." My Cousin, was a God fearing man, and many friends and Family will miss him! God Speed Mike!

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was always such a kind and gentle man the short time I have known him. The family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
My deepest sympathy to the Stafford family Mike was a good gardener, Fisher, hunter he always made sure he would share his food with me. I'm going to miss my wild life he always gave me. Take your rest now RIP.
