At this moment in life, The Hill Family mourns because a sheep (LOVED ONE) that was dear to them all has wandered away and gone beyond their sight. His departure wounds all of them and afflicts them with profound pain.

It is with a sorrowful heart that the staff and management of Harrington Funeral Home Inc. announce the passing of the late:

Ricky Hill ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠of Adel Georgia was born on Saturday, December 8, 1962. It’s during times of such, that your consolation and your hopes are entirely in Jesus, the Good Shepherd.

After 61 years, 11 days, 732 months, 22,291 days, God has decided to call Mr. Hill from labor to rest from the troubles of this world on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me, so put me on a boat headed out to sea. Please send along my fishing pole For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole. Where every day is a day to fish, to fill your heart with every wish. Don’t worry, or feel sad for me, I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.

We will miss each other for a while, but you will come and bring your smile. That won’t be long you will see, Till we’re together you and me. To all of those that think of me, be happy as I go out to sea. If others wonder, why I’m missin’ Just tell ’em I’ve gone fishin’

Funeral Services are for Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the Ralph K. Harrington Memorial Chapel - 713 Lake Park Road, Valdosta GA.
