My deepest condolences to Sam Tucker's family. Sam Tucker and I we were in Basic Training together. At Cape May New Jersey for the U.S. Coast Guard way back in February of 1981. He was a true friend and he will be missed by many. Remember to keep the faith. Petty Officer Rickey Beard

Sam will truly be missed in Supply Chain at SGMC. There's not a day that went by that he didn't make me smile. His laugh could be heard across the department. It was purely infectious! This world will not be the same without that smile and laugh. I will also miss him playfully arguing about who is better, Navy or Army! My friend Sam"buca" was one in a million. I will forever cherish our conversations, laughter and dreams of creating our own cookbook. Sam brought joy to EVERYONE who knew him. From his "Hey, let me have $2" to his infectious laugh, to his captivating stories, Sam will be missed by all! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and co-workers. My boy Sam, i remember that my first week and SGMC he would always tell me to look up when using the pallet jack or imma run into something and i would tell him that I'm too good to run into something. Then we would always chitchat about things. Sam was a Good guy

Sam will definitely be missed. I(we) were in total shock of his passing. Sam was always kind when coming by the office, or wherever we saw him. When he would enter the office, when asked how he was doing, his answer would always be "fairly middling" and would then ask for $2😊.
