I met Karen through my granddaughter when she was walking her daughter to the Christian school where my granddaughter attended also. Karen was such a loving person to lnow. The NelsonsAs the years passed and the girls became older, they went their separate ways. I am sorry for the loss of a wonderful person. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Karen and I grew up in the same neighborhood. I grew up always seeing her display that big beautiful smile. She (and her sister,Kim) were like big sisters to me and my brothers,Stephen & Torris. On behalf of the Joiner family, we expresses our sincerest and deepest condolences. May Karen's love & light remain with each of us.

To the Gilyard family. It saddens my heart because my friend has said good bye for the last time. I shall miss her at our various meetings and especially the exercise classes on Mondays. Karen was a wonderful person to know. Her smiles said it all. Look to God for strength and guidance during the next several days and months for He will ease your grieving pains.

Karen meant so much to all of us—she was truly like a second mom to my son, and the memories of our boys growing up together and me and Karen always being together will always be something I cherish deeply.
