It is with profound sadness that we announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Lazona L. Polk, born on August 27, 1960.
Her transition from labor to reward on December 25, 2024, marks the end of her earthly journey and the beginning of her eternal rest. In the sweet by and by, we shall meet on that beautiful shore; In the sweet by and by, we shall meet on that beautiful shore. We'll sing the same songs, and join in the chorus, In the sweet by and by.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Lazona Polk will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 3488 Engberg Avenue, Valdosta, GA.
The service will be followed on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, by Interment at 2:00 PM at Restlawn Cemetery, Sanford, FL.
