“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~ Romans 8:38-39
It is with great sadness that we stand with the Beaufort family as they bid a sorrowful farewell to their Matriarch and Queen:
Mrs. Majorie M. Thomas - Beaufort of Valdosta Georgia was born Wednesday, September 28, 1938, to the late Elijah and Lucille Thomas in Howell, GA. She was a faithful member of Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church located in Valdosta, GA. She was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She graduated from Echols County High School in Statenville, GA. She worked at Strickland Cotton Mill, Saft and Days Inn for over two decades. She loved to cook and feed her family. She baked the best cakes and pies. There was nothing she couldn't cook! She exchanged time for eternity on Friday, December 15, 2023.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4
