OFFICIAL NOTICE OF TRANSITION: Mrs. Mary Wright August 8, 1948 - December 1, 2024, Valdosta, Georgia.
A Final Message to Those I Love: When I am gone, just release me, and let me go, So I can move into my afterglow. You mustn't tie me down with your tears. Let's be happy that we had so many years. I gave you, my love; you can only guess How much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it's time I traveled on alone. So, grieve for me a while, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted with trust. It's only for a while that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome Home."

I first met Ms. Mary in 1983, she had traveled from New Jersey down to Valdosta. She contacted, and said the purpose of her trip was to meet her new Grandson. At the time my son Reggie was just a few months old.She was excited to meet her grandson. Ms. Mary was gorgeous, kind, and classy. She and I continued to communicate with each for over forty years. She always had words of encouragement for me. She had so much faith in God,and she spoke with confidence about the power of God. Ms. Mary will truly be missed. I am thankful for the connection that I had with her. Rest in peace precious woman. With love and sincere condolences to the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love Angela Myers Cooper
