NOTICE OF EARTHLY TRANSITION: Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Queen I. Carter of Valdosta, Georgia

With reverence, love, and deep respect, we announce the peaceful transition of Mrs. Queen I. Carter of Valdosta, Georgia, who departed this earthly life on Monday, August 24, 2026.

Born on July 17, 1932, Mrs. Queen I. Carter was blessed to journey through 94 years of life, a remarkable span of time that carried her through generations, seasons of change, triumphs, challenges, celebrations, and countless memories.

Her life represented more than the number of years she was given. It represented 94 years of moments, relationships, lessons, memories, and a legacy that will continue through everyone whose life she touched.

Today, we pause not only to acknowledge her passing, but to honor the gift of her life. Although her earthly voice has been silenced, the memories she created and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to speak.

As the family walks through this sacred season of farewell, may they be strengthened by the love surrounding them and comforted by the precious memories that cannot be taken away.

Mrs. Queen I. Carter has completed her earthly assignment. May she now rest from the labors of this life and find eternal peace in the presence of her Creator.
