God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest; God's garden must be beautiful-He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain; He knew you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and hills were hard to climb So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered, "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for a part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Mrs. Ruby Henderson {91} of Valdosta, Georgia was born Friday, August 12, 1932, she crossed the golden bar from the troubles of this world on Monday, October 30, 2023. A beautiful flower lays beyond the pond. Slightly touched with a wand. A magnificent beauty it is to see. The sun sunshine on it so free. The flower is just a flower in the wild. A flower so tender, a flower so mild. Decorated by the beauty that it is. A flower so tender and mild as this. Yet this one is a special flower that is yet not ever seen. A flower to decor not yet that it would please. To be such a beautiful flower, a flower that is brave. A flower that will never be under a grave. To see its magnificent beauty sufficient such as gold. This flower stands out from all the rest cause this flower is bold. A flower that stands out from any flower seen. This flower is not an ordinary flower this flower has a meaning. A flower that stands out from all the rest. A flower that stands out from all the flowers as the best. A flower that will bring very good luck to by anybody that has crossed. Crossed the pond to see this flower because this flower is lost. Such a beautiful flower though which could be close to your soul. Though you would have to cross this special pond to see this magnificent, beautiful, special flower grow.
Celebration of Life Services to honor the life of Mother Henderson, will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Services will be held from the sanctuary of the St. James Baptist Church, burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

To Grandma Ruby; this is your grand baby "Chris" Christina. I am going to Miss you a million. But I know that your dancing, singing granddaddy and my daddy. I miss the times that we use to spend, me running around the flower shop, always wanting to walk back to house! You say "no, because pop is still working and you Gotta stay here with me and uncle tye. I miss you all. I still remember the one pink flower you would mail me for my birthday.
